Job Title: Professional Gardener
Job Description:The role of a Professional Gardener is to maintain and repair gardens and landscape areas. This includes tasks such as pruning, weeding, irrigating, spraying, and planting of gardens and landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance duties including mowing, digging, planting, pruning, weeding, trimming, watering, cleaning, and raking of garden and landscape areas.
- Assist with the general maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness of storage facilities and breakrooms.
- Support managers and team members with ad-hoc tasks.
- Maintain gardens and landscapes to a high aesthetic standard free from damage and disease.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have previous gardening experience, preferably working in golf course environments. A Certificate III in Horticulture is desirable but not essential. Understanding of golf club operations is critical.
