About the Opportunity:

Our in-house legal team is seeking an experienced legal professional to play a key role as trusted advisor to all areas of our business.

  • Advise on legal and regulatory matters, mitigating risk and protecting our interests.
  • Negotiate and draft commercial contracts, including procurement, project, mining services, toll treating, banking facility, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Provide strategic advice on commercial, contractual, and corporate law matters.
  • Collaborate with senior management on high-impact projects and operations.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters relating to our dual listing.
  • Manage and resolve legal disputes within set timeframes and manage external counsel within budget.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 – 12 years of post-admission experience with a background in the mining or resources sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in law, admission to the Supreme Court with a current legal practising certificate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to non-legal professionals.
  • A collaborative approach, influencing and educating across all levels of the business.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment in resolving complex legal and business matters.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, prioritising tasks effectively and efficiently.
