Research Position in Animal Molecular Biology

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our animal molecular biology team. The successful candidate will have expertise in large molecular biology, gametes, seminal plasma, and bioinformatics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct translational projects aimed at improving reproductive efficiency and sustainability for Australian livestock breeders.
  • Develop and deliver undergraduate teaching programs in agricultural and environmental biotechnology, as well as first year courses.
  • Supervise research higher degree students and contribute to the development of new teaching methods and course materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD in Animal Molecular Biology or related field.
  • Experience working with gametes and seminal plasma in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong understanding of bioinformatics platforms and pipelines.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to foster cooperation between researchers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
