Residential Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Manager to lead our team at our Castra Residential Aged Care Home in Murgon, Queensland.
About the Role:
As a Residential Manager, you will be responsible for providing individualized and holistic care to our residents. You will lead a team of staff and manage resources to ensure the highest quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Strategy: Assist with the development, monitoring, and implementation of the business plan for the site.
- Resident Care: Ensure residents' care needs are assessed in a holistic manner and plans of care are developed and implemented in consultation with the resident and their representative.
- Asset and Site Management: Oversee and monitor ongoing reactive and preventative maintenance requirements for the site.
- Financial Management: Ensure cost-effective performance and maintain and monitor occupancy rates.
- Legislative Compliance: Ensure clinical policies and guidelines are in place within the facility and compliance with the Aged Care Act.
- People and Performance Management: Regular communication of individual and team goals through staff appraisals and other formal or informal meetings.
Requirements:
- A current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in the management of a Residential Aged Care Facility
- Strong knowledge of operating requirements within the Health/Aged Care Industry
- Ability to conduct care minutes assessments and associated financial analysis
- Knowledge of legislative and operating requirements within the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Strong experience in budget implementation and monitoring
- Demonstrated asset and site management experience
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Highly developed communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the elderly, families, staff, and management
