Agile Business Solutions Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst to join our Financial Crime Operations team at National Australia Bank. As an Agile Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in assisting senior stakeholders in the technical implementation of solutions to increase efficiencies in identifying money laundering and terrorism financing risks.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to scope complex technology and business solutions, including functional and non-functional requirements, business process redesign, and supporting business impact assessment and acceptance of the solutions.
- Deliver business analysis services as defined in the BA chapter service catalogue, following existing processes and templates to internal quality standards, while looking for opportunities to improve existing processes and tools.
- Apply data analysis skills to collect, map, and model data structures, including performing data mapping and analysis to support data migration and transformation projects.
- Facilitate and participate in stakeholder workshops, meetings, requirements walkthrough sessions, and scaled agile ceremonies.
- Plan work, ensuring the business analysis plan is up to date and aligned with project milestones.
- Proven experience working in a similar Business Analyst role in a complex regulated environment.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in project delivery life cycles in an agile environment.
- Previous experience related to financial services, preferably in the financial crime domain.
- Experience contributing to high-quality artefacts, including business cases, process maps, customer journey maps, functional and non-functional requirements, technical specifications, governance definitions, testing, risk and control flows.
- Previous experience working in a cross-functional, agile environment and contributing to key agile ceremonies/practices.
- Demonstrated data analysis experience and ability to distil insights and actions required from various data sources.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, and relationship-led approach to understand and manage business impacts/needs to achieve positive strategic outcomes.
