- Work with senior technical analysts, business SMEs, and solution architects to provide high-level solutions that meet business objectives.
- Partner with initiative leads and business stakeholders to elucidate requirements from feature to epic and stories.
- Practice agile principles to break down holistic business objectives into smaller, logical, and deliverable chunks.
- Work with stream leads and platform leads to deliver value quickly to production by reducing delivery dependencies and making epics technology-independent as possible.
- Partner with data management and analytics teams to ensure technology solutions adhere to data quality requirements and meet stakeholder reporting objectives.
- Partner with initiative owners to craft user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria in support of agile delivery of technology solutions.
- Provide demonstrations of and documentation for new features in the system/software.
- Develop and provide training materials in conjunction with the change team.
- Work with teams to analyze business processes, procedures, and user requirements to establish technical requirements and ensure systems solutions support defined scope of business requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with technical advances and the evolution of best practice in the domain and tech industry.
- Adopt and implement innovative practices, tools, and frameworks to deliver better value.
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate technical or professional discipline or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a business analyst role or equivalent.
- Very good experience in one or more of the following systems as an analyst: CRM, Billing, Digital Technology, Integration.
- Experience in using Salesforce capability within large transformation programs, contact centers, and/or hands-on exposure working with websites/portals, APIs/integrations, data-lake platforms, or concepts.
- Participation in delivery of IT projects in a complex environment for multiple organizations.
- Agile software delivery.
- Demonstrated capability to fulfill all accountabilities of the role.
- Demonstrated commitment to values-based decision making.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to build effective partnerships within own team, across the organization, and with service providers.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to listen, understand, and modify positions to achieve mutually acceptable outcomes.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills covering strategic, technical, and complex operational problems in the context of ambiguity and change.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
- Demonstrated capability in the implementation and adherence to methodologies and procedures for system life cycles.
- Knowledge of agile software development.
- Track record in delivering outcomes.
- Experience in working in a customer-centric organization.
- Knowledge of the Australian Energy market.
