A challenging opportunity exists for a highly skilled and experienced Surveyor to work in the vibrant region of Yarrabilba. This role will provide the successful candidate with the chance to advance their surveying career, progress their registration with the Surveyors Board, while being mentored by a team of highly accomplished and dynamic industry experts utilizing cutting-edge equipment and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance, management, and instruction on a diverse range of surveying projects.
  • Develop and maintain a robust client base in the infrastructure and development sectors.
  • Perform fieldwork, calculations, data processing, and management of the total project, including liaison with clients, communication within the business, and assistance with budgets and accounts.
  • Offer operational support to Team Leaders and the Survey Manager in relation to resource planning and staff mentoring.
  • Maintain adherence to the company's work, health, and safety policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate Surveyor, Graduate, or progression towards Surveyor registration. Current Surveyor registration or higher is highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a surveying role covering various projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, with experience in managing clients and leading/staff mentoring being highly valued.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software, with experience with Trimble instruments being highly regarded, as well as proficiency in 12D.
  • Ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
  • A valid QLD manual driver's license.
