Geospatial Surveyor Opportunity

An exciting career development opportunity exists for a skilled Surveyor to join RPS Group in Yarrabilba, Australia. This role will provide the successful candidate with the chance to progress their surveying career and achieve registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland.

About the Role:

This Surveyor position is part of our expanding geospatial team at RPS Group, one of the largest employers of Surveyors in Australia. As a Geospatial Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and management on various surveying projects, including infrastructure and development sectors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead surveying projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Mentor junior staff members to ensure knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

To succeed as a Geospatial Surveyor at RPS Group, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate Surveyor or higher.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a surveying role, covering a range of projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, clients, and staff.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, particularly Trimble instruments and 12D.
  • The ability to work in a technically demanding environment and meet project deadlines.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits, including a vehicle allowance, uniform allowance, and access to health and wellness programs.
