About the Role

The HSE Manager will develop and execute health, safety, environment strategies and systems to ensure compliance with legislation and standards across the global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive health and safety strategy aligned with operational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide compliant advice to stakeholders and the business when managing issues or incidents.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate psychosocial risks such as workplace stress, burnout, harassment, mental health challenges across all levels of the organisation.
  • Partner with the People team to design and deliver targeted HSE training and awareness programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments to proactively identify potential workplace health and safety issues.
  • Lead investigations of workplace health and safety incidents and hazard management.
  • Manage emergency response and injury management protocols.
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure reports are completed in a confidential, timely fashion.
  • Partner with Quality and Production teams to ensure that safety practices and procedures are compliant and best practice.
  • Active coordination and early involvement in the injury and claims management process.
  • Coordinate and manage injury management/return to work process.
  • Manage long term medical absences.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies on health and safety matters.
Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have strong health and safety knowledge and experience in developing and implementing strategic plans. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with employees at all levels.
