Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli and Rotisserie Support Associate to join our team at Costco Wholesale. As a key member of our deli team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and packaging rotisserie chickens and other rotisserie items, as well as maintaining a clean and organized deli area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Cooking
    • Skewer chickens and prepare them for roasting
    • Load skewers into the rotisserie oven and monitor cooking temperature
    • Package cooked chickens in domed trays and display in the heated case
  • Stocking and Rotation
    • Rotate and stock boxes of chickens and other rotisserie items in the cooler
    • Restock supplies in the prep area and cooler
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all equipment and utensils
    • Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines
  • Quality Assurance and Safety
    • Monitor and maintain quality standards for all merchandise
    • Uphold safety and security procedures
  • Customer Service
    • Provide prompt and courteous service to members, employees, and suppliers
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with front-end duties as needed
  • Assist in other departments of the warehouse as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
