Job Title: Service Deli Assistant

Costco Wholesale is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Deli Assistant to join our team. As a Service Deli Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to members, including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling party trays, and skewering and cooking chickens and ribs.
  • Operate commercial slicers, scales, and rotisserie ovens to prepare and cook food.
  • Package and label products, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Restock and assemble large boxes of ingredients and supplies in the prep area.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment, and clean and sanitize equipment and utensils.
  • Count and document product on hand, and record production and sanitation data.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a food service or retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
