Fennies Nurseries seeks an experienced payroll professional to join our team as a Payroll Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for both salaried and variable-hour staff.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Process Management: Manage the entire payroll cycle, from data entry to payment processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements, including RTI, FPS submissions, and end-of-year reporting.
- Employee Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll queries, providing clear and timely support to Nursery Managers and employees.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work closely with HR to ensure smooth payroll operations, attending monthly meetings and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Expertise & Experience: Proven experience in payroll management, with a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to numbers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all payroll processes.
