About the Role:

Kent Place School is an equal opportunity employer seeking a qualified Payroll Coordinator to support its Business Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, preparing year-end tax forms, and maintaining employee records.

This role will also support the Finance team with the annual audit process and ensure accurate financial reporting of salaries and benefits. A strong understanding of payroll laws and tax compliance is essential for this position.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR preferred
  2. 2-3 years of payroll and tax experience, preferably in education or a nonprofit setting
  3. Proficiency in payroll software/HRIS (Paycom preferred) and Google Suite
  4. Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax compliance
  5. Exceptional attention to detail
  6. Excellent communication skills
