Expert Case Resolution Specialist

Job Description

As an Expert Case Resolution Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional recovery and return-to-work outcomes for our customers. Your primary focus will be on interpreting diverse information sources, including medical, psychosocial, and occupational data, to develop tailored, evidence-based recovery strategies.

This involves complex case reviews, coaching Case Managers to enhance their decision-making and case management capabilities, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to shape the direction of complex claims.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to translate diverse data into actionable strategies, drive business outcomes through data-driven insights, and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting diverse information sources, including medical, psychosocial, and occupational data
  • Developing tailored, evidence-based recovery strategies
  • Coaching Case Managers to enhance their decision-making and case management capabilities
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require a background in Psychology or Occupational Therapy (with mental health experience). Exposure to strategically assessing medical and/or disability claims is an advantage, as is extensive experience in dealing with complex illnesses and injuries.

Proven coaching and mentoring capabilities are also essential, as well as an understanding of the Risk Insurance market and associated products. Additionally, you should be able to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
