About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic Front Office Team at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Offer a warm welcome to every guest and provide assistance as needed.
  • Prepare group arrivals and handle foreign exchange transactions with accuracy.
  • Report any complaints or suspicious activities to the Assistant Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager.
  • Upsell hotel rooms and facilities to maximize revenue.
  • Manage car park charges and validations, ensuring all transactions are correct.
  • Process emails, faxes, and business centre requests as required.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential.
  • Knowledge of a reservations system, such as Opera, is an advantage.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide excellent customer service.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to follow tasks through to completion.
  • Ability to foster a positive team spirit and attitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving and researching skills.
  • Proactive and positive focus with a passion for hospitality and travel.
