We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Amentum's Logistics division in Alice Springs. As a Custodial Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of various facilities, including residential properties.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with or without prior experience in housekeeping to develop their skills and work in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • General housekeeping duties: estimated 10% of time, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
  • Residential property cleaning: approximately 60% of time, delivering thorough and efficient cleaning services to our clients' homes.
  • Assist in the provision of on-the-job training: 5%, supporting colleagues in developing their skills and knowledge.
  • Support logistics areas as required: 15%, contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics team.
  • Utilize computer systems for recording and planning tasks: 5%, maintaining accurate records and staying organized.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • A valid driver's license, as some travel may be required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
