Job Description
This is an opportunity for a seasoned media professional to lead our newsroom in South East Queensland. We are seeking a digital newsroom leader with exceptional news judgment and extensive previous reporting and newsroom experience.

We are looking for someone who can oversee the sourcing and creation of compelling content across print and digital platforms, drive a content strategy that attracts new audiences and connects with existing audiences across multiple platforms, work under deadline pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment, mentor, manage, and motivate journalists to deliver unique quality content that drives conversation and reader engagement, understand digital data and use it in planning quality content, collaborate with other teams to deliver state-wide outcomes, and set the tone in the newsroom and create a positive and productive working environment to help journalists perform at their best.
