Job Role Overview

This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality support necessary for patient care and movement within perioperative services.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating theatre equipment for each procedure
  • Transport patients and medical equipment between departments
  • Assist with patient transfer, positioning, and preparation for surgery or other treatments
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of floors, equipment, and furniture in the operating suite
  • Remove soiled linen and waste materials from the premises
  • Restock supplies of essential materials and consumables
  • Evaluate and maintain safe and hygienic conditions in the operating suite to minimize risks and ensure a positive experience for patients and staff
Working Conditions and Hours

This role requires flexible working arrangements, including day, afternoon, and night shifts, across a 7-day rotating roster. Various temporary full-time and part-time positions are available with varying hours and end dates.
