Perioperative Nursing Specialist

The Perioperative Registered Nurse plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care within a dynamic team environment. As a skilled nurse, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting junior clinicians to ensure high-quality care that is centered around individual needs.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver person-centered nursing care by leveraging best practice evidence in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
- Provide guidance and support to junior clinicians to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain competencies and knowledge for nursing care in a multidisciplinary context.
- Apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement patient-centered care with a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
- Prioritize and organize workload to deliver care with integrity and accountability.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated competencies and knowledge for nursing care in a multidisciplinary context.
- Effective clinical communication skills using information technology, written and verbal means, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Recent clinical experience in theatre nursing/scrub/scout; evidence of ongoing professional development and maintenance of competence.
Australian Work Rights: You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or able to legally live and work in Australia.
