Job Title: Haematology Professional

Position Overview
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Haematology Professional to join our team in providing high-quality diagnostic, consultative and on-call services.
  • The ideal candidate will participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities, as per the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure a high standard of professional performance and contribute to an academic environment that supports research and development.
  • Encourage effective communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Selection Criteria
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Laboratory Haematology.
  • Commitment to basic, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.
  • Contemporary knowledge of National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) Standards and NATA accreditation processes.
  • Technical expertise in Laboratory Haematology.
Requirements
  • A Working with Children Check issued by the Office of the Children's Guardian.
  • Compliance with Policy Directive PD2024_015 Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination against specified diseases.
