The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations (Australia and New Zealand) is responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency within the marketing department.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing programs that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the go-to-market implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Act as a liaison between the marketing department and other key functional areas such as Legal, Operations, and Territory Teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on marketing initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimise marketing operations processes and workflows to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and tools to streamline project management and execution.
  • Support the delivery of Partnership & Sponsorship initiatives to ensure Subway brand and business objectives are met and all deliverables are executed to a high standard.
  • Manage relationships with marketing vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities and materials comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any legal or regulatory issues.
  • Establish quality assurance processes and standards to ensure that all marketing materials and assets meet brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the successful execution of marketing initiatives and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • 5-7 years experience in marketing operations, project management or related, preferably within the retail or food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and efficiency within marketing departments.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to implement best practices and tools to streamline project management and execution.
