About the Role:

Stellar Recruitment is proud to present a highly skilled Civil Project Manager opportunity with a renowned Tier 3 civil contractor based in Bunbury, Western Australia.

This role offers an exceptional chance for a talented professional to lead and manage local civils/earthworks/projects in the captivating south-west region of Western Australia. With a Monday to Friday schedule, attractive remuneration, and the chance to make a significant impact, this position is one of the better Project Manager roles available in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end management of civils/pipelines/earthworks/roadworks projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and specifications.
  • Provide commercial and contractual oversight of projects and provide regular progress reporting
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to establish strong working relationships and drive project success.
  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and proactively manage risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Uphold strict safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed and address any project-related concerns.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager for civil contractors, with a proven track record in successfully delivering projects in Australia, NZ or UK.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Sound commercial acumen and contractual understanding of AS2124 contracts
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Existing rights to live and work in Australia
