With a strong track record of success, they have secured a new project requiring the appointment of an experienced Civil Project Lead to oversee their team on site.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering the project scope, ensuring timely completion within budget while leading a team of 30-40 staff. Based in Perth, you will travel to the stunning south-west region during the week, returning to spend weekends with family and friends. This Civil Project Lead position offers a unique opportunity to work on a $12m earthworks, internal roads, and concrete foundations project, driving high performance and developing a cohesive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards;
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation;
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards;
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations;
- Foster a positive team culture, promoting open communication, and continuous improvement;
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar field;
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Civil Project Lead in civil construction projects;
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects, including earthworks, concrete foundations, and internal roads;
- Strong planning, scheduling, and cost management skills;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements;
- Current rights to work in Australia and a valid C Class Drivers Licence.
