Warehouse and Deliveries Associate

The primary objective of this role is to manage the daily operations of the warehouse, encompassing receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, as well as coordinating deliveries to customers or other facilities.

This position ensures efficient, accurate, and safe handling of goods to meet customer and company expectations.

  • Upon receiving shipments, inspect them for accuracy and record the details in our inventory system.
  • Store products in designated areas within the warehouse according to our inventory management protocols.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, verifying their accuracy before they are dispatched.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to established procedures and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to monitor stock levels and report discrepancies.
  • Use manual logs or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and update inventory status as necessary.
  • Support with replenishment and inventory control tasks when needed.
  • Operate various types of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery to load and unload goods from trucks and shipping containers.
  • Verify that incoming and outgoing shipments conform to quality and quantity standards.
  • For deliveries, safely load products onto vehicles, ensuring they are secured during transport. Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customers or other business locations within scheduled timeframes.
  • Unload products at the delivery destination, ensuring proper handling and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of deliveries, obtain customer signatures, and report any issues encountered during delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries and concerns, and escalating matters to management as necessary.
  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles.
  • Report any mechanical issues or repairs required for warehouse equipment or delivery vehicles.
