Visual Effects Specialist

At Flying Bark Productions, we're seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Specialist to join our team of innovative professionals. This exciting opportunity will challenge you to push the boundaries of character animation and storytelling.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior artists to create high-quality visual effects for films, ensuring accuracy and style consistency.
  • Develop advanced simulations, such as fire, smoke, water, and particles, to enhance scenes and elevate the overall cinematic experience.
  • Manage and maintain technical workflows, adhering to established project visions and artistic guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in CG animated features or episodic productions (6+ years).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing mature, stylized representations of reality.
  • Expertise in Houdini, Katana, and Arnold, with knowledge of Maya and Nuke as an added advantage.
  • Ability to execute look development and high-quality 3D effects, including particles, fluids, and destruction.
  • Assist in setting up or maintaining libraries of effect presets for seamless application across multiple shots.
  • Generate compatible caches for rendering effects in show-compatible image formats.
  • Provide training and support for junior crew members as needed.
