Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters using Rancher in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Rancher, Kubernetes nodes, workloads, and networking.
  • Maintain high availability and fault tolerance of Rancher-managed clusters.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar.
  • Automate deployment workflows for microservices and containerized applications.
  • Version control all infrastructure-related code and promote GitOps methodologies.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices to ensure secure deployments and infrastructure hardening.
  • Manage secrets using tools like HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Kubernetes Secret.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Rancher RKE2 or K3s for lightweight or edge cluster management.
  • Experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation roles.
  • Proficient with Kubernetes architecture, Helm, ingress controllers, and service meshes.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Argo CD, etc.).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps and containerization.
