Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to fill a key technical role as an IT Infrastructure Specialist. In this position, you will serve as a technical expert and provide 3rd level technical support.

  • Engage with the wider technology team on escalated technical issues, troubleshooting, and fault rectification of problems relating to infrastructure & cloud services.
  • Design, implement, and deliver technical solutions that meet our business needs.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide relevant on-the-job training when required.
  • Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date by prioritizing tasks based on priority, impact, and SLAs.
  • Administer, support, and maintain ICT services including on-premises, Azure, and data centre hosted environments to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Serve as the key subject matter expert on digital transformation across our organization, particularly file shared Azure cloud formation and/or hybrid configuration.
  • Troubleshoot server and networking hardware, manage problem management, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Maintain and support Microsoft and VMware hypervisor environments.
  • Manage and support Windows stack environments including Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Office 365, Azure Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, etc.
  • Design, build, install, cut over, and backup disaster recovery (ShadowProtect, Azure Backup, and Veeam)

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft cloud suite including Office 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Entra ID, and ATP.
  • Business communication experience – TIPT and cloud phones.
  • Ability to work some after hours and weekends with occasional interstate travel.
