Community Fundraising and Content Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Community Fundraising and Content Coordinator. This full-time role involves creating engaging content and delivering fundraising campaigns that make a meaningful impact.

This position is part of a parental leave cover arrangement, with a flexible hybrid working model that allows for work-life balance. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to support and fundraise for various initiatives, including Project Compassion and emergency appeals.

You will have the opportunity to craft compelling content, both written and visual, that reflects our mission and resonates with schools, parishes, and communities across Australia.

  • Develop and execute effective fundraising content and social media strategies to enhance visibility and inspire action.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support and fundraise for Project Compassion, emergency appeals, and other initiatives.
  • Source and share authentic stories from the field that highlight the impact of donor support.
  • Monitor content performance and use insights to optimize campaign strategies and supporter engagement.

This role is based in Sydney and operates in a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week.

Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as Fundraising, Marketing, or Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced campaign environment.
