Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing credit risk across a selected portfolio of institutions and corporate exposures, ensuring compliance with prudential standards and Board policy.

This role involves ongoing monitoring of counterparties' credit and liquidity worthiness, identification of emerging credit/counterparty risks, and provision of timely credit decisions for all permanent and transactional credit requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage credit risk on a selected portfolio of ADIs and corporate exposures
  • Ongoing monitoring of counterparties' credit and liquidity worthiness
  • Identification of emerging credit/counterparty risks
  • Provision of timely credit decisions for all permanent and transactional credit requests

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good general knowledge of APRA prudential standards
  • Familiarity with lending practices and products
  • Comprehensive understanding of credit scoring models and rating agencies
  • Ability to read and understand balance sheets, profit & loss, cash flow statements and other financial reports
  • Tertiary education in an accounting discipline or similar field
