About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team providing a telephone based support service to those experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed intake and assessment of clients presenting situation
  • Refer to specialist homelessness service providers and other external agencies
  • Advocate for clients as required
  • Support clients to engage with services
  • Access to crisis shelter accommodation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the Community Services Sector, including Diploma level qualifications or equivalent
  • Data Base entry, computer skills, time management
  • Knowledge of the Homelessness sector, Domestic Violence awareness and understanding of Youth culture
