IDE Lead Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development and implementation of strategies that foster a diverse and inclusive culture.

  • Work confidently with senior leaders, navigating complexity, and translating insights into focused action
  • Full-time ongoing position based in Tasmania

Your Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and implementing contemporary IDE practices aligned with the university's people strategy and priorities
  2. Shaping an IDE-focused culture and deploying diversity and inclusion initiatives that deliver impact
  3. Oversight of IDE-related reporting, evaluating, and monitoring sector performance and outcomes
  4. Analysis of data, identification of issues, trends, and ensuring key diversity outcomes are considered in all people planning, performance, and development activities
  5. Making recommendations on improving IDE outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking someone who has:

  • A strong track record in driving culture and capability change, and deep knowledge of contemporary IDE principles, frameworks, and challenges
  • Comfortable working with senior leaders, navigating complexity, and translating insights into focused action
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, combined with critical thinking and the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and generate practical solutions
  • The ability to think systemically, partner effectively, and lead with empathy and purpose
