Role Overview

This role focuses on delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive, and age-appropriate care to those in need. We strive to understand the unique needs and circumstances of each individual or family we serve.

As a Pastoral Practitioner, you will:

  • Contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of our pastoral care team.
  • Nurture relationships with individuals and families through empathetic and compassionate communication.
  • Maintain professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting.

Key Criteria:

  • Qualifications: One or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent. Relevant pastoral or theological study.
  • Experience: Proven ability to work collaboratively within large organizations. Understanding of pastoral and spiritual needs. Empathy and affinity for vulnerable individuals and families.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Moderate computer skills. Passion for social change and contributing to an organization that addresses disadvantage.
