Role Overview:

This role is part of the Mission team and involves providing spiritual care services to individuals in need across various locations. The successful candidate will work closely with teams to deliver high-quality care, ensuring alignment with the organization's values and principles.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the pastoral care team
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting

Essential Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications in Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent
  • Relevant theological or pastoral studies

In addition, you will need to possess:

  • A strong understanding of working within complex organizations and collaborating with teams
  • An appreciation of the spiritual and pastoral needs of individuals receiving services
  • Empathy and a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals
  • A basic understanding of different faiths and traditions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
