Leadership Position in Clinical Governance
">This position offers a unique opportunity to join our leadership team and contribute to the effective governance, coordination, and support of clinical teams. As a Deputy Chief Medical Officer (DCMO), you will play an active part in contributing to the management of both junior and senior medical staff, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care is consistently delivered.
">You will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer to provide clinical leadership and oversight of the medical workforce, including ancillary services such as Pathology, Radiology, and Pharmacy. This role requires strong clinical leadership and organisational ability, as well as experience working in an Australian Hospital environment in managing patients.
">The ideal candidate will have specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), postgraduate medical qualifications, and demonstrated clinical leadership and organisational ability. Experience working in a hospital setting and knowledge of medical staff enterprise agreements are also highly valued.
">In addition to your technical skills and experience, you will be a strong communicator, able to effectively consult, negotiate, and collaborate with colleagues at all levels. You will also possess superior interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
