Are you an innovative professional with a strong interest in marketing and communication within the mining and resources industry? Perenti Contract Mining is in search of a proficient Marketing Specialist to enhance our vibrant Marketing & Communications division.

In this position, you will report directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager, taking charge of crafting engaging content for both our workforce and clientele, while building and maintaining relationships with vital stakeholders and leaders within the organization.

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with business executives, spearhead creative initiatives, cultivate organizational partnerships, and contribute to a global influence.

This is a full-time role based at our Canning Vale offices, with occasional travel to operational sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to devise and execute strategic marketing initiatives
  • Work in tandem with the Perenti Corporate Branding, Marketing, and Communications team
  • Ensure adherence to brand consistency and compliance standards
  • Develop comprehensive and effective design briefs
  • Conduct thorough campaign reporting and performance analysis
  • Generate captivating content for diverse platforms, including social media and internal communications
  • Oversee social media content calendars and accounts
  • Monitor social media engagement and activity
  • Analyze metrics related to social media performance
  • Update and optimize website content for SEO
  • Create written materials for both internal and external communication channels
  • Support various marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Assist with on-site video and photography projects
Essential Skill Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role
  • Capability to produce engaging content across various channels
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, and Google tools
  • Self-driven with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to the principles of Perenti Contract Mining
  • Willingness to travel to operational locations
Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SAP, WordPress, and Workplace by Meta
  • Previous experience in the resources sector
