Are you an innovative professional with a keen interest in marketing and communication within the mining and resources domain? Perenti Contract Mining is on the lookout for a proficient Marketing Specialist to become a vital part of our energetic Marketing & Communications division.

In this position, you will report directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager and be tasked with crafting persuasive content for both our workforce and clientele, while also fostering relationships with essential stakeholders and company leaders.

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with business executives, spearhead creative initiatives, build organizational partnerships, and contribute to a global impact.

It is a full-time role based at our offices, with occasional travel to operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to design and execute strategic marketing initiatives
  • Work in conjunction with the Corporate Branding, Marketing, and Communications team
  • Ensure adherence to brand consistency and compliance
  • Develop clear and effective design briefs
  • Conduct analysis and reporting on marketing campaigns
  • Generate engaging content for diverse platforms, including social media and internal communications
  • Oversee social media content calendar and accounts
  • Monitor social media engagement and activity
  • Analyze metrics related to social media performance
  • Update and optimize website content for SEO
  • Produce written content for both internal and external channels
  • Support various marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Assist with on-site video and photography projects
Skill Requirements/Key Requirements
Essential

  • Degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role
  • Ability to craft engaging content across various channels
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, and Google tools
  • Self-driven with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to Perenti Contract Mining principles
  • Willingness to travel to operational locations
Desirable

  • Familiarity with SAP, WordPress, and Workplace by Meta
  • Previous experience in the resources sector
