Smithfield Village Early Learning Centre is a 126-place Centre that provides high-quality care for children. We are passionate about making a difference in children's lives and offer a unique and inspiring natural environment for them to grow, learn, and develop.
Our Centre
We have a variety of barnyard animals, reptiles, birds, a waterpark, Tropical rainforests, and Garden world where all fresh produce is grown and harvested and implemented in the fresh meals daily. Our Animal education programs (Little Rangers) are designed to provide children with a fun and interactive learning experience.
The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Diploma or Certificate 111 in Children's Services, a current blue card, and current First Aid/CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications. They will also have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Great communication skills and ability to create strong relationships with educators and families.
- Provides adequate supervision to groups of children.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Follows Policies and Procedures.
- Co-ordinates the learning experiences for the children.
- Available to work all shifts.
