Working as a Storesperson with our team will bring you opportunities to make a significant impact in the aviation industry. You will be responsible for ensuring that goods required by the catering team are available on time and in the required quantities. To achieve this, you will work closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure timely acceptance of inbound goods and stores destined for use in the catering area.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring goods availability: Guarantee that goods needed by the catering team are available on time and in the correct quantities.
  • Packing and inspection: Ensure delivered items are packed to acceptable hygiene standards and other specifications.
  • Stock management: Manage stock effectively to ensure space is available for incoming goods as required.
  • Maintaining HACCP policies: Comply with company policy in relation to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) regulations.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid forklift license with experience, high reach license preferred.
  • Good knowledge of basic food safety and QSAI requirements.
  • Basic understanding of Halal policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS).
  • Good knowledge of storehouse and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent product knowledge.
