Warehouse Operations Specialist

About this role: We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking and packing orders to customer specifications
  • Processing both inbound and outbound orders
  • Performing putaways into designated locations
  • Timely replenishment of stock
  • Operating handheld technology such as RF scanners
  • Using WMS to print labels and check data
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all incoming and outgoing orders
  • FOLLOWING client SOPs to meet customer expectations and minimize stock damage
  • Supporting the operation in stocktakes as required
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
  • Adhering to DHL Safety Policies and Procedures including hazard awareness
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a high volume 3PL warehouse environment
  • Forklift Licence (High Reach and/or Counter Balance) essential
  • Proven experience picking, packing, checking and dispatching of orders
  • Previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners
  • Ability to work in a team with focus on giving excellent customer service
  • An understanding of the importance of adherence to WHS policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Flexible, positive, Can Do attitude
