National Resilience Taskforce Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our National Resilience Taskforce team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of innovative policy outcomes for the Portfolio on national resilience and security issues.
About Our TeamThe National Resilience Taskforce is a dynamic and high-paced team working on some of the most important challenges Australia faces. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates with a range of skills, qualifications, and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities- Provide policy, professional, and technical advice on complex and sensitive issues
- Prepare briefing materials, correspondence, presentations, and minutes under limited direction
- Use written and verbal communication to work in a dynamic team environment and engage with stakeholders
- Liaise collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and assist with responses to and resolution of complex policy, project, or operational issues
- Mentor and coach others to build and enhance their capabilities and capacity
- Tertiary qualifications in governance and public administration or similar
- High-quality writing skills
- Policy or Cabinet experience
- Project management experience
