About the Role

The Australian National University is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Project Officer to join the Inclusive and Respectful Communities team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in promoting respectful behaviours and supporting diversity and inclusion across the campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of Inclusive and Respectful Communities activities, including the development of education and information materials, presenting workshops, and organizing events.
  • Oversee the development and coordination of engagement initiatives that seek to support student voice, particularly in the prevention of sexual violence and other harmful behaviours at ANU.
  • Oversee other community engagement initiatives, including the LGBTIQA+ Ally Network, anti-racism, and peer-led initiatives that support the objectives of the team.

We support the broader community to implement key university-wide strategies, including the Sexual Violence Prevention Strategy, Gender Equity Strategy, the Anti-Racism Taskforce Recommendations, and the Disability Action Plan.
