Job Opportunity: Allied Health Support

We are seeking an Allied Health student or qualified professional to join our team as a Therapy Assistant.

As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering therapy programs to our clients under the guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional. You will work collaboratively with our therapists to achieve client goals and outcomes.

This is a casual position based locally in Warwick and surrounds. You will have the opportunity to work independently while receiving regular support from our therapists. The hours on offer are envisaged to grow based on your capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support clients and their families to achieve therapy goals through the delivery of individual and group therapy programs.
  2. Develop your experience and skills in the fast-growing disability sector.
  3. Be a champion for our clients, supporting them to achieve their goals and independence.

Requirements:

  1. Current study in an allied health degree (e.g. SP, OT, DT, PT) or Certificate IV in Allied Health; or
  2. Fully qualified and/or experienced Allied Health Assistant (min Cert III).
  3. Hold a valid QLD Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
  4. Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training.
  5. Hold current First Aid and CPR certification.
  6. Current drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  7. Well-developed interpersonal skills and understanding of professional boundaries and scope of practice.
  8. Capacity to assist in all duties and be confident to do so autonomously.
