Job Title: Experienced Mechanic

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel and General Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults, servicing and maintaining equipment, and working to tight schedules while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuous improvement of safe work practices
  • Work within workshop rules and regulations at all times
  • Thoroughly diagnose and repair faults
  • Service and maintain equipment of fleet
  • Assist with planning and maintaining service schedules
  • Ownership of major repairs, working efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a general Mechanic
  • Sound knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension
  • Truck servicing ability
  • Experience with Diagnosing and repairing faults and defects in vehicles
  • The ability to follow direction & work autonomously
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit for heavy work
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
