We are seeking an experienced professional to provide specialist counselling and casework to children and families where Risk of Significant Harm (ROSH) has been identified due to domestic violence, physical abuse, or neglect.
The role involves providing medium to long-term interventions that support recovery, enhance safety, and strengthen parenting capacity. This will involve working closely with multiple stakeholders including Community Services, schools, police, and non-government organisations to deliver coordinated and effective support to families in need.
As a senior clinician, you will play a key leadership role within the team, providing professional supervision and mentorship to junior staff, and contributing to service development, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
A degree in Social Work from an accredited course is required, eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Demonstrated experience working with children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, or domestic violence is essential.
Strong skills in trauma-informed, client-centred counselling and casework are necessary.
Experience contributing to service development, evaluation, and quality improvement is highly valued.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working alongside multiple stakeholders, are required.
A current NSW Driver's Licence is also required.
A commitment to promoting a positive safety culture and maintaining a safe, supportive workplace is essential.
