About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter Mechanic to join our team in the Southern Region. As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and infrastructure in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical equipment and infrastructure in the Southern Region
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with electrical equipment
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of electrical systems
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve electrical system efficiency and reliability
Requirements
  • Trade qualified Electrical Fitter Mechanic with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence
  • Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network
  • Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations
  • Availability for call out and emergency work
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home regularly
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and a proven ability to effectively work in varied team settings
