About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter Mechanic to join our Customer Service team in Toowoomba. As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing customer connections, undertaking meter installations and upgrades, and completing electrical shock investigations and supply and voltage problem investigations for residential and business customers across our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform customer connections and meter installations
  • Undertake electrical shock investigations and supply and voltage problem investigations
  • Complete electrical maintenance and repair tasks
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • Queensland Electrical Licencing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic
  • Experience in completing meter changes and service replacements
  • Availability for call out and emergency work
  • Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time
  • Current 'C' class open Drives Licence
Desirable
  • Authorisation as a Meter Re-Connection Officer and/or
  • Authorisation as an Electrical Connection Officer and/or
  • Authorisation as an Advanced Connection Officer
