About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter Mechanic to join our team at Energy Queensland. As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various electrical equipment and plant. You will also have the opportunity to work on high-voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains, and customer service lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence.
  • Install, repair, commission, and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant.
  • Construct, maintain, and repair overhead, high, and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains, and customer service lines.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter Mechanic who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and contributing to the success of our team. You will have a strong knowledge of electricity distribution and transmission systems, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will also be available for call-out and emergency work, and willing to travel to surrounding areas from time to time.
