Job Overview

\

The Lead Data Analyst will play a key role in driving data-informed decision making across the organization. This individual will lead and advocate for data understanding, partner with various teams to democratize data, and develop business intelligence dashboarding solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Lead and advocate for data understanding across the organization, partnering with various teams to gather business requirements and educate teams on self-service best practices.\
  • Champion statistical analysis, identifying significance and incrementality of strategic initiatives across Product and Marketing.\
  • Develop business intelligence dashboarding solutions and delivery, proactively identifying business opportunities and collaborating with teams across the organization.\
  • Develop LookML models and uplift analytical platforms, practicing and supporting the data team in ensuring optimal code standards and modelling techniques are enforced.\
  • Help develop data governance practices, inclusive of mapping upstream to downstream services, uplifting monitorability of data quality, and ensuring a sustainable business intelligence solution.\
  • Own the data platform, partnering with Engineering teams to scope data requirements and support data delivery, including the development of event-based data.\
  • Develop a strong understanding of data needs, planning, and advocating to embed data into the business to support scaling and growing the data team.

Qualifications and/or Experience Required:

\
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a senior or lead capacity at a tech company.\
  • Expertise in business intelligence tooling (e.g., Looker), CDP tools (e.g., Segment/Amplitude), data warehousing (Redshift/Snowflake), and familiarity with Modelling and Orchestration.\
  • Excellent presentation skills, ability to distil information to the right level of detail, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\
  • Strong critical thinking, technical, and analytical skills, with the ability to take complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.\
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
