About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the management and oversight of compliance regulations and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor changes in regulations and assist in maintaining risk and compliance frameworks;
  • Support the team with the preparation of regulatory reporting requirements;
  • Advise the business on the pipeline of regulatory project work required, help deliver, and project manage these changes under the direction of the Compliance Manager;
  • Assist in any other ad-hoc compliance-related projects or requests;
  • Provide relevant compliance advice to stakeholders within the business in line with the ASIC and APRA prudential standards;
  • Coordinate with external auditors regarding internal system audit planning;
  • Assist stakeholders and senior risk and compliance team members with any relevant compliance project work as they implement a new GRC system; AND
  • Handle investigations and complaints related to non-compliance and report to relevant parties as needed.
Requirements
  • 2-7 years of compliance experience, either at an Australian regulator (APRA / ASIC) within financial services or ideally within superannuation;
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, economics, business, commerce or related field-preferred;
  • Excellent technical skills to produce detailed reports and analyses;
  • Experience in dealing with / providing reporting material to ASIC, APRA, AFCA, ATO AUSTRAC;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively carry out compliance tasks as required; AND
  • Collaborative team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
