Job Title: Senior Production TechnologistAbout the Role

The ideal candidate will lead screening and evaluation of well design and completion options for tight coal development, mature production technology scopes to high decision quality, balance risk and value, integrate log, core, DFIT, and microseismic data into stimulation planning and design.

  • Lead teams in analysis of well designs and completions to ensure optimal results
  • Mature technical scopes to provide informed and optimized fracture designs
  • Coach and mentor junior production technologists and other cross-functional team members
Key Responsibilities
  1. To analyze well designs and completions, providing recommendations for improvement and optimization.
  2. To develop and implement technical scopes that meet business objectives, including hydraulic fracture stimulation in tight coal formations.
  3. To coach and mentor junior production technologists, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Extensive experience in Coal Seam Gas (CSG), with a strong focus on hydraulic fracture stimulation in tight coal formations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in front-end screening, fracture design, operational execution, and economic evaluation.
